Film Width & Format

Specify roll width, lay-flat width, or tubing circumference. Zohar Plast manufactures flexible PE film to any width from narrow tubing for small produce bags to wide sheeting for industrial covering applications. Specify in inches or millimetres.

Gauge / Thickness

Measured in mils or microns lighter gauges for produce wrap and bakery film, heavier gauges for heavy-duty wrap, frozen food film, and industrial sheeting. Our team will advise on the correct gauge if unsure.

Resin & Grade

LDPE, LLDPE, or HDPE food-grade virgin or industrial-grade virgin. Specify FDA or CFIA compliance if required for food-contact film applications. Our team will confirm the correct resin for your process.

Special Requirements

Anti-fog treatment, micro-perforation or venting, printing, freezer rating, UV stabilisation, core size, roll length, or slip/cling additives specify all film performance requirements at the quoting stage.

Is there a minimum order quantity for custom flexible PE film?

Zohar Plast works with customers across a range of order volumes from specialised custom film runs to large ongoing supply agreements. Contact us with your film specification and quantity and we will advise on minimum order requirements and pricing for your application.

Can you match a flexible film we are currently using?

Yes. If you have an existing flexible polyethylene film you want to replicate or improve upon, provide us with the specification or send a sample and we will manufacture to match. We can also advise on gauge or resin changes that would improve performance, seal strength, or compliance for your application.

What flexible PE film formats do you manufacture?

Zohar Plast manufactures flexible polyethylene film in lay-flat roll stock, poly tubing, sheeting, and film bags. Roll film is available on standard and custom cores to suit automated packaging lines. Contact us to discuss the format best suited to your production process.

Do you supply flexible polyethylene film to the United States?

Yes. Zohar Plast ships custom flexible PE film packaging to food processors, industrial manufacturers, distributors, and retailers across the United States in addition to our Canadian customers. Can flexible PE film be printed with our branding?

Yes. Zohar Plast offers custom-printed flexible polyethylene film in one or more colours for food retail, produce, and branded packaging applications. Specify printing requirements at the quoting stage and we will provide details on artwork specifications and available colour options.

What is the difference between LDPE and LLDPE flexible film?

LDPE flexible film is soft, highly clear, and excellent for heat sealing well suited to produce film, bakery wrap, and retail food packaging. LLDPE flexible film offers higher puncture resistance, superior stretch, and better tear strength at equivalent gauges preferred for frozen food film, meat packaging, heavy-duty wrap, and cold-chain applications. Zohar Plast manufactures both, as well as blended PE film grades that combine properties of each. Our team will recommend the correct film for your application.
